Summary: Good Idea.. needs design changes 2008-05-22
Comment: I bought this to protect my new car. It is fairly simply to assemble. It has a zipable/roll up door. Obviously the provided cover will not last forever, but that is to be expected.
The provided anchor spikes are pretty worthless. You will have to do more to anchor the unit to the ground, especially if you get any wind. The provided frame pieces fit together. They would be much better if they snapped in with the button and hole design. Wind can make the tent move and pull the joints apart.
But i do think that if you are capable of properly anchoring this, it is a good cheap alternative to a full fledged garage.
