Make a comfortable, sturdy bench and a table up to 8' long. Just add 2x4 lumber pieces. Flips and locks from a bench to a table in seconds without using tools. Slide lock safely secures and locks in position. Made of maintenance free structural resin. Use only one or slide two Bench Tables together for a full size picnic table. Good for small porches and decks. Assembled unit stands 34"H in the bench position, 31"H in the table position and both with 17.5"H seat. Includes Bench Table legs, hardware and instructions. Summary: Fantastic product, easy to put together. 2008-06-20
Comment: Bought two to use as a large picnic table butted up against each other. Also use as benches in some cases. Bought cheap stud lumber, hand picked, a week before the kit arrived. Cut to 6' and stained with a deck stain/UV protection product. All was ready to install when the kits arrived. I've put the two units in the back of a small restaurant, outside the back door, and created the Smokin', Drinkin', Cussin' & Spittin' section. The benches have been well received and used.
I've now ordered their any size chair unit to make a small bench for our front porch. I'll use good Redwood with it.

Summary: great concept, shaky quality control 2008-05-29
Comment: This is a clever, useful (if not particularly attractive) design. I have 2x4basics benches that I love. However, the flip top bench table that I received was broken. I returned it, and Amazon was great about sending a replacement out immediately. Unfortunately, the replacement was broken in the very same place. After lugging the second return to the post office, I was too tired to give it a third shot. That being said, if you get one that's NOT broken, you'll probably like it!

Summary: Flip Top Bench Table is a winner! 2008-05-08
Comment: After searching for a durable and dependable bench/table to display my Bonsai trees I came across the Flip Top Bench Table and I could not be more satisfied. Since the Bench Table is used in full sun and exposed to all the elements outdoors, I used 2x4 pressure treated lumber and assembly was completed in less than 15 minutes! I would highly recommend this product for use as a regular bench or by using two you can enjoy a nice table.

Comment: these are great. now we have deck furniture that doesn't take up deck space all the time. easy to make too. if you want to make them 8 ft long though, make the supports longer too.
