Comment: You get what you pay for. It works, it is a little above cheap. It lasts for about a year then one of the ribs will break, it will fade, or some cloth will tear. The way I see it is $50/year is better than paying $200 for a bit better one that will still only last 3-4 years.

Comment: Made in China, not waterproof, this is an umbrella for shade only, I realized after I threw out the box that it was crooked and pole is made out of cheap orangy plastic and not wood. I tossed it and bought a beautiful waterproof "real wood" one at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $31.99. Cons of buying on the internet when you can't see the merchandise in person I guess.

Comment: With the cheap price I wasn't expecting much but was blown away by the quality of this umbrella, it far surpassed all expectations. It is study and attractive. I will order it in other colors.

Comment: just received this item. You get what you pay for!!! The package had a large sticker on the front- NOTICE!!! this package was sent damaged please inspect immediatly. Well, you guessed it. The umbrella was sent in a plastic bag inside a damaged and re-taped box. That's it. Nothing to protect the ribs or rest of the umbrella. So I have an umbrella with a hole in the top and worn fabric that makes this item look used. First and last time I'll shop @ EWINS.
