Comment: nice umbrella but the connector between the 2 poles is fastened with only 2 screws on @ end, thus allowing the umbrella to be crooked on its poles. would like to see one stand as stright as the one depicted. i brought 2 and both are the same.

Comment: The umbrellas arrived quickly and were packaged well. I especially liked the satin-like bags to cover the thatch and keep it straight. The poles however, were quite weak when screwed together to make the 9'. We reinforced them with pvc on the outside. The price is good, so we were not too upset.

Comment: This wonderful Tiki Unbrella is so simple in construction, but goes together so well and looks so great, that you feel you are in the tropics - well, actually I am. Next to the pool it looks just great. Delivery time could not have been quicker. As long as it holds up I'll be happy. Passersby and guests love it also.

and sawdust. First small windy day and the pole broke in half. Repaired it stronger than before,(sleeve, screws and more glue) it then broke in a different spot.
Save your money, look for an umbrella with a metal pole. RR
