40-lb. base is designed to provide maximum stability for your Half-Canopy Umbrella (sold separately), without taking up extra space. The unique trapezoid shape and off-center stand tube allow the base to fit flush against a wall or other vertical surface, without needing attachment or installation. Made from sturdy cast iron with a durable powder-coated finish, it will withstand normal umbrella movement caused by wind and weather. Adjustable levelers make it easy to compensate for uneven surfaces. Removable stand tube allows for simple, compact storage. Champagne finish.

Comment: More expensive than I expected, about $100 through Amazon, plus hefty shipping due to the 40 lb. weight. Seems very sturdy, enough to keep the umbrella in place for high wind gusts.
