We use materials and construction that far outlast the flimsy versions sold elsewhere, so it delivers unsurpassed value over years of use. The rugged pole and eight ribs connect with solid brass hardwaremuch stronger than the commonplace metal pin hinges on most knock-offs. Canopies are sewn from heavy, 10-oz. Sunbrella® acrylic canvas (not cheap polyester) that's double-reinforced in the pockets and vented to deflate gusts. Canopies may be raised with one hand, thanks to a smooth pulley system, and the spare rope tucks neatly in a leather loop. Crafted from ecologically farmed hardwood.
