Wrought iron Bistro side chair with its comfortable lattice-weave design, coordinates perfectly with our Bistro 28" mesh table (sold separately). As part of our Bistro set, it's the perfect place to lunch or just relax and watch the world go by. Chair is stackable for easy storage. Wrought iron is treated with an exclusive sintering coating process that completely covers its surface--every corner, nook and cranny. This unique coating is 15 times thicker than a standard wet coating, 8 times thicker than powder coating and 50% cooler to the touch after sunlight exposure. This state-of-the-art process produces furniture that resists scratching, peeling, fading and chipping, stands up to weather and will not rust. Made in Germany by Kettler. Metal FurnitureWrought iron furniture is treated with an exclusive sintering coating process that completely covers its surface--every corner, nook and cranny. This state-of-the-art process produces furniture that resists scratching, peeling, fading, and chipping, stands up to weather and will not rust. Ph WashAfter welding and sanding, the bare metal furniture frame undergoes a PH balance wash and primer coating process. The primed frame is then heated at 660 degrees F in a thermal tunnel. Powder DippingThe frame is then dipped into an air-injected powdered paint mixture. The air-circulated powder, consisting of paint pigments, aluminum flakes and resin particles, evenly bonds to the frame, building up to eight mils of paint. With the outer shell still uncured, the coated frame again enters the thermal tunnel for its last heating process at 390 degrees F. One-Of-A-Kind CoatingWhen the paint is completely dried and hardened, it creates a unique coating that is 15 times thicker than a standard wet coating, 8 times thicker than powder-coating and 50% cooler to the touch after sunlight exposure.
