Summary: nice for the price 2008-06-04
Comment: The table is excellent. It's heavy, solid, real wood and looks great.
The chairs were made incorrectly. Where the material of the 'seat' slide into the side bars of the chair frame, the slots are drilled on the wrong side. This causes the bars not to be able to expand all the way to the legs and the seat is too high. Also, one of the backing poles doesn't fit into the hole that's drilled in the arm.
Also, if you're on the large size, these aren't for you.
Overall, it is a great little set for the price. It's perfect for my back patio and my son & I to watch the squirrels in the backyard from while rocking. It's very attractive & real wood, solid & heavy. The chairs fold up nicely when I need to sweep up or during bad rain storms for storage.
I think if I sent them back, the issues with the chair construction would be resolved, but we have wood tools, so I'm just going to fix them myself. I hate waiting at the post office to return things! :D

Summary: Relaxing bistro style... 2008-03-29
Comment: Bistro grouping worked nicely size and style wise for the
front covered porch. Several of the soft wood parts were
a little scared from packaging and shipping. Took some
concentration in following instruction to assemble and
the canvas seating was a little stiff. Hopefully after
the canvas is broken in the seating will be more comfortable. Since they're used under cover outdoors I
decided to put a sealer weather proofing on all wood parts.

Comment: I just bought this item on sale for $115.00 and it was well worth it! Beautiful wood and deep red chairs, plus a great table. It was quick to assemble and the chairs are very sturdy. I am very happy and I would recommend you get your set before they are gone!
