Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM 2008-07-18
Comment: I am very disappointed to see this substandard quality "Made in America" product. I just opened the package and found that 3 out of 4 parts (left arm/leg, back and seat) had cracks in it. The cracks weren't result of damage during shipping but rather quality control issue. I could see that cracks were developed when the parts above were assembled in factory.
One hole did not match and I had to use a drill. Beware! this bench is UNFINISHED. When I purchased this bench I was thinking about how to secure it since I will be keeping it outdoor. Now, I don't worry about it. I am not going to return this bench because I simply don't have time to pack it up again. I will just use it and hope it lasts for next 2 months. I despise "Made in China" products for their poor quality and was expecting some good work here. Really very disappointing!
Plus Points: Surprisingly light weight. Nice design. (but remember, this looks made me fool).
Bottom line: DO NOT BUY.

Comment: Fantastic bench for the money. When varnished with a thick coat, it looks fantastic and it will last almost forever. It will resist rain and sunlight.

Comment: I really like the ease in which we had putting this together. I also once again appreciated Amazon quick delivery service. I really liked getting free shipping. This will be a gift for my daughter in-law for Christmas. I know that she will just love it. I am leaving it natural so she can paint it to go on her front porch.

Comment: Sturdy, economical & versatile little bench with a lovely design. Very easy to put together but don't let that fool you - its one tough puppy. Seats two medium sized adults and stands up to repeated attacks by three rambunctious little boys! And that's saying a lot at our house!
