Summary: ok chairs - shipping weight incorrect 2008-08-18
Comment: Chairs are ok and are as represented. However, upon the arrival of our two chairs we were very surprised at the shipping weight. With two chairs in one package - the package could not have weighed over 15 lbs total. They were bulky, but that still should not have cost us $50 in shipping fees. They were quite light weight. We have a lot of stuff shipped and if the weight was actually what it said on the web site, that would have been acceptable. However, it was much lighter than what was listed on the website. Understand bulk is a factor - but in this case - not that big of a factor. When we ordered they were listed at 47 lbs. Now they are listed at 36 lbs. Have requested that Amazon check into this and readjust the shipping weight.

Summary: just ok for the price - wobbly 2008-07-20
Comment: Just got the chairs this week (and the matching table). They look just like the pictures. However, every chair is a little wobbly or crooked on the legs. They seem to even out with your weight when you sit on them. We have not tried to adjust the screws to get them level. I assume they were either assembled without being level or that happened during shipping (from China). Some of the plastic end caps came broken off already. I have not assembled the table yet, but that will be in another review. It is a shame you have to pay shipping for each set of 2 chairs (who wants just 2 chairs?). They should combine shipping so you can get a complete set (4 chairs and the table).

Comment: I had a friend buy these and they collapsed after only one season use. Metal is weakest where it needs to be strongest. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Summary: Shoddy weld points, chairs will COLLAPSE! 2007-12-17
Comment: These chairs look great but beware of faulty weld points on the weak cast-metal with overall design support system is faulty. We already have had one chair simply fold up on itself and collapse with normal use by adults of regular weight in only two months! Unfortunately these chairs were ordered too long ago for Amazon to give refund. AVOID THESE CHAIRS!

Summary: Great for the price! 2007-10-18
Comment: These chairs are great for the price! Pros: I really like the rustic bronze finish, they have a nice high, contoured back and are comfortable for sling chairs. Cons: They are light enough to move around on our deck in gusty Colorado winds, the plastic caps (mentioned by another reviewer) are loose and pretty useless, the delivery process is an ordeal and when one of ours came defective the replacement/return process was an even bigger inconvenience. Overall, I am am very happy with them and would buy them again!
