Summary: Read the Diagram - 2ND Table - NO hardware!!!!! 2008-07-18
Comment: Changed opinion, Second table came WITHOUT HARDWARE!!!!!!Yes, one "vine" plate was misdrilled too close to the edge and we hope it will not be a future problem. However, we had NO problem putting the table together and like the looks of the table. The "vine" plates are two different sizes that need to be placed opposite the same size - easy to miss if the digram is not looked at first - we saw it before we started to put the table together - no problems. Looks great with the matching chairs - too bad more chairs are not available.

Summary: Great Product 2008-07-09
Comment: I ordered this product ignoring some of the poor reviews because I wanted a table to match the chairs I ordered. Some people have complained the table was hard to put together, that may be because they are not used to putting together furniture.
I would say the table may be hard to put together alone (without an assistant to balance it upside-down). But if you attach all the parts leaving a little room to give (like with all put together furniture) it is quite a simple proceedure (you might also want to have a rachet handy to tighten the bolts quicker). I would say we had it up within 20 mintues of removing it from the package. It looks better than the picture and matches the chairs we ordered prefectly.
I highly recommend this product, it is an excellent deal. Way nicer quality than anything found at home depot in the under $200 price range.

Summary: Another box with missing parts AND no customer service but Amazon 2008-07-08
Comment: Two out of 4 "Strathwood' products ordered from Amazon in the past few weeks arrived with missing parts and missing instructions.
Be prepared for a couple of trips to a hardware store to obtain needed bolts, nuts, lock washers. etc.
(Hint the parts are metric Not US units - though they look similar)
The customer service contacts Amazon provides only refer back to Amazon.
Would consider this to be a fine product if only there was some basic customer service contact or all assembly parts shipped intact.

Summary: Buyer Beware 2008-07-08
Comment: Same problem as reviewer Stephen D. What a shoddy table. Be prepared to buy four screws.
From Stephen D.: "The table came with a printed parts list. The list had been altered by hand and guess what, that part "F" , a bolt, does not screw into the table. Handwritten says M9x25 (I think )but it isn't very clear."
Besides the screws being the wrong ones, the four pieces in the middle don't appear to align either.
I bought the matching chairs and loved the craftmanship on those. What happened here?? Would rate lower than 1 star if able to.
Update: You will need 4 9mm bolts. Box stores sell 8mm and 10mm, but found them at nearby hardware store. Strathwood sent me 4 useless 8mm bolts.

Summary: If you can figure out how to put it together you may like it. 2008-04-14
Comment: I bought this table to go with my Strathwood Falkner set because I needed a smaller table size and wanted the colors to match. This is also a dark brown/gray, instead of black, with bronze in it. The finish is very nice. It looks like a great table when it's in pieces. When I put the legs on the table top and tried to attach the trellis parts, per the instructions, it wouldn't work. The table legs don't match up to attach the trellis parts. But I wasn't going to be beat by a pile of metal, so I took the legs off of the table top, attached the trellis parts to the legs, no easy feat, keeping the parts loose so I could move them around and match them up to the holes on the table top. It worked, BUT then the square of the table top and the square of the trellis didn't match up. The legs were crooked. I took them off and turned them to match up as straight as possible but it still wasn't straight. It can be put together. I'm a girl and I did it. But personally for $200+ to buy this table they should deliver it to you assembled and serve you lunch on it! I'm returning mine.
