Summary: Strathwood Steamer Chair 2008-11-02
Comment: The shipment arrived with styrofoam packaging--just enough to allow
a perfect chair to emerge. I bought two, both are beautiful, and
grace my balcony. The finish may need more coats? or it is not buffed,
but, they are gorgeous.

Summary: Great chair for the Money 2008-09-09
Comment: This chair is of decent quality.... Not great, but pretty solid and well made. It has a few minor imperfections, but for the price of under $100.00, it can't be beat. I have seen comparable chairs for three times the price. Good value.

Summary: A Bargain 2008-09-03
Comment: A well made steamer chair. It doesn't have the solid brass hardware of the more expensive teak models but it is sturdy and durable.

Summary: Well-priced quality chair 2008-08-29
Comment: I ordered the chair about a month ago along with four matching folding chairs (those don't seem to be available as of this writing). These chairs have several great qualities:
- They fold and can be put away for storage during the winter (one of my purchasing criteria)
- They were priced much better than comparable chairs (less than half the price in some cases)
- They are very sturdy and feel completely durable
- They are made of kapur wood which is as durable as teak but considered a more sustainably harvested wood (bonus!)
- There was no assembly required
The only quabbles:
- The steamer is a bit tricky to maneuver when folding/unfolding. The other chairs don't have that problem.
- The packaging was terrible: there was so much cardboard and styrofoam to dispose of I actually had to haul it away rather than attempt to stuff in my recycle bins. Styrofoam shouldn't even be used.
Regardless, it was one of the best buys I've made in a long time on Amazon and in general.

Summary: Steamer Chair supurb 2008-08-28
Comment: The chair is fine and met our expectations. It is comfortable, easy to fold and a nice size. It is a fine choice. We have it on our wrap around deck which is narrow but the chair fits fine. I bought a second one after being more than satisfied with the first.
